In the mid nineties, we found about a hundred mostly hand-written documents in a wooden chest on my grandfather's attic. Majority of the documents belonged to Mada Ćirić, and most of the remaining ones to his son-in-law Dragutin Todorović.
Out of those, 91 documents were dated, and the distribution of years looks like this:
Most documents are from the early years of 20th century, while Mada Ćirić acted as president of the county court in Velika Lukanja.
The oldest document carries a date of May 20 1862, and has the obverse written in Arabic script (most likely in Turkish), and reverse written in Cyrillics.
